Make It: Plum Fizz


1 Can of Lila Sparking Wine

4 Black Plums

1/2 Cup of Sugar

2 Cups of Water

2 Teaspoons of Black Peppercorns

2 Teaspoons of Lemon Juice

1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

How to Mix

Turn stove to medium heat and prepare a medium sized saucepan. Add all ingredients save the wine. Bring everything to a boil, and simmer for 20 minutes, softening the plums. Remove from heat, and let cool. Strain out resulting thickened juices. Add 1 oz. of this plum syrup to a chilled flute and top with Lila Sparkling Wine.
