Twin Peaks is Over... But Keep its Spirit Alive with this Damn Fine Cherry Pie Cocktail
Pix and Story :: Anastacia Uriegas
Tulpas, the eyeless woman, charcoal Abe Lincoln, the doppelgängers, the teddy bear with the bubble head, Sarah Palmer removing her face -- Twin Peaks: The Return was both ab-so-lute-ly nutso and completely brilliant. The characters, places and unnerving soundscape had us all glued to the television trying to make sense of David Lynch’s special brand of strange genius and then quickly left us feeling empty when the season we waited so long for finally came to an end. That kind of grief can only be remedied by a damn fine drink, a Damn Fine Cherry Pie cocktail to be precise. Inspired by the official dessert of Twin Peaks, the ruby-hued Damn Fine Cherry Pie cocktail oozes with cherry and pie crust flavor thanks to amaretto liqueur, tart and sweet grenadine, and a graham cracker rim.
So, when you’re feeling really down and not even a YouTube compilation of the “Helloooo” scene can lift your spirits, make the Damn Fine Cherry Pie cocktail as you exclaim: "WHAT THE HELL?"
